White Loaves

My white loaves were devoured by all.  I tried the cinnamon sugar variation – sprinkling cinnamon, sugar and a layer of soft butter on the rectangular dough before rolling – and it was enjoyed as well.  Today I’m going to chop up some chocolate chips and apply those before rolling.

  1. It was delicious!!! I roughly chopped 1 cup of chocolate chips in the food processor. I sprinkled them over the rectangle of dough – keeping about an inch of an edge all around. I then rolled it tightly, and continued following the directions. One cup was a LOT of chocolate, and I love chocolate. I think I would do 1/2 cup next time and go from there. The flavor was reminiscent of a good chocolate croissant!
